About Pulse Foundation

Pulse Foundation is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and creating a lasting impact on the ecosystem. Through programs like BEyond, Revival Belgium, and Fuckup Nights, we transform entrepreneurial stories into engaging, visible and impactful experiences. The communication officer acts as a strategic bridge, ensuring brand consistency while amplifying the reach of our diverse initiatives.

The mission

We are looking for a hybrid Marketing & Communications Operations Lead who is not only a storyteller but also an "efficiency enthusiast." Your goal is to manage the Foundation’s visibility while leveraging AI to automate recurring tasks, allowing more time for high-value strategic work.

Key responsibilities

With the help of the team, you’ll be responsible for :

1. Brand strategy, content creation and community management

  • Help building and deploying the communication strategy for Pulse Foundation and its programs.
  • Manage the editorial calendar (LinkedIn, Instagram) and publish institutional content focused on vision, impact and community.
  • Manage (recruitment) campaigns for our programs.
  • Create engaging content (interviews, reports, …) or work with agencies to do so (short-form videos, podcasts, … ).
  • Monitor and track the performance via monthly KPIs and adjust the strategy based on data-driven insights.
  • Participate in the structuration and optimization of our CRM databases (tags, audiences) for targeted communication.
  • Create and send mailings and newsletters, ensuring high open rates and conversion.
  • Maintain and oversee our websites (3) to ensure information accuracy.

2. AI, automation & workflow optimization

  • Design and deploy AI agents (Claude Projects and automations via Zapier/Make) to handle recurring tasks: email filtering, first drafts of reports, social media captioning, data cleaning…
  • Identify "low-value" manual tasks within the communication department and implement tech solutions to eliminate them.
  • Automation between CRM & Mailchimp.

NB : Pulse Foundation attracts quality internship applications year-round. With interns you will act as a mentor, overseeing the onboarding process and managing them. Your ability to delegate recurring tasks to interns is key to maintaining a high-level focus on strategic marketing goals.

The ideal profile

  • Experience: 2-5 years in Communication/Marketing with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • AI native: you know how to prompt, build agents and integrate AI into your daily workflow to save hours of work.
  • Languages: professional-level of English. Knowledge of French/Dutch is a very strong asset.
  • Technical stack: mastery of Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business, Google Ads, Frame.io, CRM tools and automation tools (Zapier/Make).
  • Mindset: highly organized and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Why join Pulse?

  • A transversal role with high impact on the Belgian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Collaboration with purpose-driven teams
  • Opportunity to shape internal processes that will endure beyond your tenure
  • Supportive, entrepreneurial culture where initiative is valued
  • Hybrid working (Brussels 2x/week) in a dynamic environment where creativity meets systemic impact.
  • Compensation package aligned with market practice.
