We are looking for an experienced Level 1 Prevention Advisor to strengthen our safety culture and support our industrial projects, including the start-up of a new production plant expected to open in the second half of 2025 in Nivelles.

Your mission

You will play a key role in preventing occupational hazards and continuously improving working conditions. As a true field partner, you will support management and operational teams in implementing proactive safety policies that comply with Belgian legislation.

Your responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and analyze health, safety, and well-being risks in the workplace.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the Global Prevention Plan and the Annual Action Plan.
• Advise management on improvements to working conditions.
• Actively contribute to the development of a safety culture, including through awareness campaigns and targeted training.
• Conduct safety audits and site visits to verify compliance with rules and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with the CPPT (Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work), employee representatives, and various company departments.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adapt internal procedures to legal developments.
• Participate in large-scale projects, including the commissioning of new facilities.

Your profile

• Certified Level 1 Prevention Advisor.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial, logistics, or production environment.
• Experience in contexts of creating or starting up industrial sites is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Belgian legislation relating to well-being at work.
• Ability to unite, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with different hierarchical levels.
• Structured, rigorous, solution-oriented, with a strong sensitivity to the field.
• Bilingual French / Dutch – Knowledge of English is an asset.
